Lessonvid Launched - we have developed a video sharing site at www.lessonvid.com - the idea is for teachers to use a webcam to create videos that will be useful for revision. If you have something to offer then please do join and upload. New Support Section Launched - We have added a support section where you can download powerpoints, lesson plans, homeworks and more. New site design launched - We have revamped our site and added user registration, a competition, a work gallery and an online shop. Hope you like it !! (Nov 07) Schoolpal now released - we are really proud of this social networking system for schools. It is flexible, easy to use and really hits hard at the "it's not cool to achieve" culture - the subscription includes access to full versions of our most popular resources and is provided in a private environment of your school. (Oct 07) - Pupils without the internet at home ? You can now use our FREE DIAL UP service click here to download the setup file which you can then distribute to your pupils on floppy. Alternative the manual settings are - tel : 08456040489 , username : pupil , password : teachict .(Sept 2007).
- We have lauched our web hosting service exclusively for schools - excellent performance for a great value price and loads of features for you and your pupils (Sept 2007)
- Initial designs have begun on a social network. We are looking at taking the myspace concept and applying it to learning - more to follow in September. (July 2007)
- NEW approach - we have completed work on developing our web2.0 KS3 ICT resource - Starstruck 2.0 - a demo is now available to view here. (July 2007)
- We are currently developing a web 2.0 version of Starstruck - we hope we will have a demo ready by the end of this month (July 2007)
The Schoolzone teacher reviewer panel have awarded this site a Highly Recommended rating (Feb 2007) We have started branching out and working with a physics teacher to develop a 3D learning resource for teaching key concepts in physics. (Feb 2007) This will be for KS4 ICT. Star Struck - our new KS3 ICT resource has been completed and uploaded (Jan 2007). WOW - we won Best of the Web for ICT on teachersTV - for a couple of guys who work in our spare rooms in our spare time it was awesome to finish ahead of BBC, Channel4 etc. I did a lap of honour around school when I saw the video - kids thought my behaviour slightly strange. You can watch the feature here. Work is nearly completed on a new KS3 ICT resource - Star Struck - due to be uploaded early in 2007. Included in Top 10 ICT websites on Teachers TV Our new 3D revision resource finalised & released (September 2006). This is for KS4 ICT Initial designs of a new 3D resource have been put into production - we are hoping to launch in Autumn 2006 - more details to follow soon (June 2006) Teach ICT listed on Curriculum Online (June 2006) in the KS3, KS4 & KS5 ICT sections. Teach ICT approved as Curriculum Online supplier and retailer (June 2006). This means that we are now able to accept E-learning credits as payment for certified products (currently only Renegade Hero). Animated introductions have been added to Renegade Hero (May 2006) New KS3 ICT resource : Renegade Hero uploaded (March 2006). Our work was recently featured positively in the TES "Teacher" supplement, click here to read this article. We were voted Website of the Month by universalteacher.org (December 2005) Our work is included in NGFL Cymru databases (Nov 2005) Awarded Excellent Site Award by Topmarks.co.uk for KS3 ICT resources (Sept 2005)
